Challenge
Dunavant was contacted for transportation solutions by a company that mixes and blends spices, breading and batters for many commercial food suppliers. Their supply chain is extremely time-sensitive, with many customers relying on frequent deliveries to ensure quality service to their own patrons.
Solution
After assessing their operation, Dunavant implemented a “white glove” system with competitive pricing that focused on partnering with specially trained drivers and temperature-control settings for various food products. We assigned a dedicated carrier manager to oversee their delivery system.
Results
We helped improve carrier capacity in two particular states to help speed up delivery to the client's customers.
